Spring brings one of my favorite things to do in the DMV area: go see the cherry blossoms!

Yes, cherry blossoms are a must to see! It’s a time when everyone in D.C. gets together and gathers to see these beautiful trees. In 1912, Mayor Yukio Ozaki of Tokyo gifted 3,000 cherry trees to the nation’s capital. More than 100 years later, this act of kindness is still celebrated.

Ready to travel this 2021? I know! We are still in the midst of a pandemic and apparently is not going anywhere yet. But we are hopeful: the vaccines started to roll out this past December in the States and the anticipation to start traveling again is increasing, for sure!
